Hi,
I hope this is the right group. I work for a very small company and
inherited the job of administering the phone system. I do work in
I.T, but I am pretty new to the telecom side. We have a Definity 1
switch I'm pretty sure, which I manage through this Avaya site
administration software. I know how to add stations..but we ran out
of existing numbers a bit ago and I ordered some new D.I.D numbers
from SBC. Unfortunately they were out of numbers that started wtih
the same prefix as the existing ones. So I need to figure out how to
get the new prefix (let's call it 352) into our system. Anyone have
any ideas? Is this a complicated thing or just a matter of a setting
on a screen?

Any help would be appreciated.

change ars analysis {number}

There you can add the routing etc. for th code. Or maybe I'm not talking
about the same thing you are.
